S.Angela Merici Foundation
Sant’Angela Merici Foundation (www.santangelamerici.it) is a scientific Institute of absolute national importance in the field of rehabilitation. It is one of the biggest structures in Sicily. L.U.de.Sstarted up a fruitful and intense cooperation with the Sant’Angela Merici Foundation for the trainings of clinical practice: hence our students have the possibility to confront with disease and illness experiences of different origins, nature, care modalities and their evolution (severe disability, long term care, outpatient, day hospital, home care, intensive rehabilitation, geriatrics, etc. ....).
Moreover, L.U.de.S. rehabilitation Institute and the Merici Foundation cooperate also for what concerns researchers and lecturers in the field of theorical and applied research with joint publications, organization of national and international scientific events, and promotion, at all levels, of a rehabilitation that has to be scientifically correct, exhaustive and updated but above all opened to the human dimension.
